The Bouncy Game
Hello everyone. Week 3 has come and gone. It was a fun week. I learned a new bouncy game with Mommy and Daddy. Basically, they are figuring out the trick to keeping me happy is just keeping me active. In fact, I may have even smiled for the first time this week. I bounced, bounced, bounced, and then smiled. Bounced, bounced, bounced, and then smiled. Now, it may have just been gas that caused me to make that face. The jury is still out on that one. Here is a video of me dancing and bouncing around to Daddy's whistling.
We had lots of visitors this week. First, we started out with Uncle Ben Bosher. Ben liked to hold me and helped keep me warm this winter by stacking some wood near the fireplace. He even left a comment on my blog. “Hey Ben”.
Then we had a fun Wednesday with Mimi home. We practiced our ABC’s before she packed up for her dental conference in
Then Mommy packed us up and headed north to GramE and Grampa’s house. She cut her hand real bad when packing us up but you know my Mommy. She can make it through anything. All by herself she still got us up north safe and sound. It was my first visit to GramE and Grampa’s and I got to meet Mr. Magoo the cat. He is a frisky young man but we got along just fine.
Here is a picture of Mommy getting me ready to go. She just gave birth to me three weeks ago people. Isn't she pretty?
We topped off the weekend with a few visitors on Sunday. Great Grandma and Great Aunt Anita visited on Sunday morning. Great Grandma says I look just like my Grampa when he was a baby… and I eat like him too. She brought some baby pictures of Grampa to prove it. Here is me and Great Grandma meeting for the first time.
Finally, we had Auntie Allison and Uncle Greg visit all the way from
Besides all the visitors, I had fun playing with my tropical toys. Here is a photo of me hanging out on the island
… and here is one of me scoping out the scene from my chair. “Two bikinis 10 o’clock.”
Here is some video footage in the tropics.
Now a shout out to all my commenters from the past week. Great call on the Corvette Marshall. I am glad we have that in writing now. Is car insurance expensive for that? Auntie Heather, where you been? Tell Cousin Brooke we need to catch up on a bunch of stuff. Thanks for the kind note Great Aunt Jan. Everyone tells me you are fun, fun, fun. My favorite color so far is red. Firetrucks, the Red Sox, and Hot Tamales, mmmm…..
Speaking of Red Sox, is anyone else doing the wave in their sleep?
Talk to you all next week…
Love,
Kai
P.S. Here are more photos from Week 3 if you have not had enough http://www.flickr.com/photos/58273561@N00/sets/72157594507819744
Yo, Kai! I realized after you left that you may have felt as though I was a bit stand-off-ish. I wasn't. If you look closely at my pictures that I sent you, you'll notice that I'm cross-eyed. That means I see two of you and together you both outweigh me! Next time. I'll let one of you pet me.
