Cousin Brooke

Hello all my peeps.  I had my one month birthday on Saturday.  Wow, what a crazy trip it has been.  It feels like just yesterday that I was all comfy and cozy in Mommy’s tummy.

This week was a lot of fun.  Auntie Heather and Cousin Brooke visited for four days to help Mommy because Daddy was working.  Auntie Heather helped a lot with the cooking and chores and Cousin Brooke gave me a few pointers on what to expect the next few weeks.  She told me to cry a lot and I will be treated like a king.  Here is a shot of me practicing with her.

When Daddy got back, we went for a nice long walk down to River Road.  Nothing beats some nice fresh air.  Here is a shot of me and Cousin Brooke all bundled up for our journey.  "Yo Mimi, throw on some hot chocolate."

One bad thing about this week.  We finally figured out what I inherited from Daddy.  His gastrointestinal tract.  I have been passing gas in every direction and it has made me a bit fussy this week.  Mommy pats my back and gives me some Mylicon.  She makes me feel better.  Daddy likes to teach through demonstration so he has been passing gas all week to show me how.

The really good news about this week is I learned how to hold my bottle.  OK, I have not perfected it yet but I am trying.  Here is some video footage of me at work … and then snoozing on the job.  Wew, this stuff is tiring.

Finally, here is a bonus shot.  I am thinking … “Enough with these baby games.  What do you say you bring me that Guinness and Sirloin Steak you promised me?”

Love you all,

Kai

Kai, what a week! Gram E and me (Hey a rhyme!) went on our first cruise (Jamaica/Grand Cayman). Before you overdo the beer and steak, take a close look at me. Once you start, it's hard to stop. Also, if you think that you've got gas now, ask your dad about beer farts and beer belches. Anyway, it was nice getting home from the cruise at 1:30 AM and seeing you and Dad, hard at work on his laptop, changing the world. Does everybody else feel safe? Irie! Yea, mon! No problem!
