Music, sports, and my friends

Fabulous fall everyone.  I am surviving my first hurricane right now, mommy and daddy are asleep, so I figure "why not update my blog".  Now that the summer rays have past, it's time for me to get back to my hobbies.  I love music, I love sports, and I love catching up with old friends.

The first thing I did was whipped out the old harmonica.  Here I am jamming away with Daddy.

Then it was time to play some keyboard.  I cannot play the keyboard without my buddy, Evan Lewis.  Evan flew all the way in from Chicago to bang out some rhythms with me.

After a few sets, we kicked back with a few beers and caught up on old times.  “We should get the band back together man.”

Our mommies and daddies shared a lot of laughs watching us play.  Here is a shot of Mommy and Auntie Lilias baking my little brother and Evan’s little brother in their tummies.

Sometimes I just like to take the back seat to someone else’s rhythm and show off my dance skills.  Here I am with cousin Brooke catching the beat.

… and here is Grampy and I with an old fashion march

On the sports front, I like to shoot hoops at least twice a week.  Here I am down at the neighborhood court hustling some locals.  “Who said white men can’t jump?”

I use those feet for more than dancing.  Here I am showing off my soccer moves.

Uncle Beast kept his promise and took me hunting.  He said if I wear a sombrero, it would attract some big black bear.   So he bought me a sombrero and brought me to Vermont to track some down.  Here we are approaching what we thought was our first bite.

Turns out, the sombrero strategy did not work.  All we found was a cat on the farm.  Here is a picture of me and Brooke petting the kitty.  We called him Turkey.

Ironically enough, I ran into a bear in Maine the next week.  Here I am in a face-to-face confrontation with him.  “Uncle Beast.  Where are you when I need you?”

By the way, Happy Halloween.  I wanted to dress up this year but the local police department needed me for back-up instead.  “There is a new sheriff in town people”.

I ran into a bunch of my friends that day including my friend Jack, the giraffe…

... my friends Emma, the lady bug, and Jack, the monkey…

… my friend Will, the pirate…

… my friend Fiona, the zebra…

… and my friend Tally, the cowgirl.

Waking up in the morning, especially to my beautiful Mommy, is so much fun.

I learned how to wave hi last month.  Hi Daddy!

Wow, I am exhausted.  There is nothing like kicking back in my stroller for a cat nap.  Until next time everyone!

If you have not gotten enough, here are more videos and photos...
