Hey all,

I hope everyone had an awesome summer. I definitely did.  It was my first summer Olympics so guess what?  I invented my own version of the Olympics and played all summer.   Here are the results:

100M Swim:  Unfortunately, I was disqualified for using sneakers in the event.



My friend Madi ended up taking the Gold and got a big cake.



The Cage Match with the Cat.  It came down to Magoo versus me in the blood match. 



Unfortunately, I lost.



Sand Eating Contest:  “Anyone have some salt water I can wash this down with?”  I took the Silver.




Wrestling.  Nancy took the Gold but I almost had her.  Here she is in my vintage head lock.



Gymnastics:  Brooke took me down on the seesaw and balance beam.






Although Joe and I nailed the floor exercise.


 

Sand Castle Contest:  Marshall squeezed out the Gold ahead of me.  I think he bribed the judges. 



Fencing:  The first thing Grampa told me was “Never hit a man with glasses”.  Then Grampa put on his glasses.



Lexi and Tyler took the Gold in that one.  I mean, check out Tyler’s sword.



The 1000 Pound Wagon Pull:  Do you ever get the feeling that your life is the Truman Show?  My paranoia cost me the Gold.



The Motor Cross.   My neighbors Fiona and Beckett teamed up for the Gold



… Carli and I took the Silver



Ham Sandwich Eating contest.  I took the Bronze behind Cousin Brooke and Daddy.



Swing Dancing:  Unfortunately, I forgot my deodorant and was not able to line up a partner that day.  I was deducted 5 points for swing dancing alone.  It cost me the Gold.



Thumb War Contest:  Uncle Beast took the Gold with his crazy hands.



Find the front of your car contest:  I was no match for Melissa.   This event is a Montana favorite and the native took me down.



Splash Contest:  Zane beat me out and took the Gold.  They call him Crazy Feet. 



Speed Reading Contest:  Mimi and GramE tied for the Gold on this one.  I do love it when they read to me though.





Log Cabin Building Contest:  My friend Joe took the Gold here.  Check out the cabin he built.



The 100 Yard Dash.  I trailed Cousin Brooke by about 100 yards the whole race and had to settle for the Silver.



Bobsled. Hayden and I took the Silver.  “Hayden, are you staying hydrated back there?”



Best Wedding Crasher Performance:  I did everything I could to take down the wedding tent but no luck.   I didn’t even place in this event.



Beauty Contest.  I was thinking “big lips, big eyes, and come on hair… show me some body when I need it”.  A Silver it is.



When you are in the Olympics, everyone wants their picture taken with you, especially the ladies.

The paparazzi are everywhere.  Even Grampy gets in for a close one.



Here are two tips from an Olympian on performing your best:

#1:  Get plenty of rest



#2:  Stay hydrated



Finally, my Gold medal came.  The Lollipop Eating Contest!
